Sunday Sept 17 The limits on the pleasures of the morning are always set, and it was an interesting day, in the late afternoon I could not go to the pleasure which is away no to charity, find country from an agricultural point of view a rather pretty little mountainous way a great many miles & progressive trees largely in little groves Monday Sept 19 Another mountainous day we went dinner for about 10 A.M. Saw in the sky above the great mounds of the impressiveness of the early dynasty's. Cianfut was the capital of the country in the Tang Dynasty The walls are the style or it have sun except Parkings and the gates are magnificent. Just before we went in we met Mr. Sharrett, a missionary.
