a blank. Just on this way home his hunter
had seen a large white ram, which was
age carrying his enormous pair
of horns climbing to a mid-side they
had followed it to the summit only
to lose it in to gathering darkness.
I did not go over to where Harry had
killed his sheep for it was already
10 o'clock and if I expected to get
a ram it was high time to be
about my days work.
Mr climbed to the top point peak, after
downingly glanced at the lower ridges
off with lift, and there found a trail
which led about along the mt side
of just below the crest. It I am hour
and kept on, stopping now then to scan
the passes ravines & valleys which radiated
outward in all directions.
At half past eleven
as we rounded a broad rocky shoulder
I saw four sheep feeding in the bottom
of a gorge far below me. In an instant
my hunter & I dropped behind a crest
a watch them. They see quite our
conscious of our presence they were
worked out of the ravine across
a low ridge & into a deep gorge where
the grass still showed a tinge of green.
