the hunt was on seemed almost
too good the true.
It was dark long before we got
in bed and the hunters ateers
were very late with the skinning
meat. Mr took only the fillets, as
usual, and the hunters made
a good thing from selling the
meat to the villagers.

We hunted rapidly all next day. The herd had
gone into the hills far down the
valley & we could not find them
Wed.
Mr. 12
a mile or two from camp.
so we went after sheep and
thems near the entrance of the
run tar har valley, I found nine
sheep feeding on the banks of a
deep valley. It would have been
a perfect place to stalk them had
the wind not been wrong.
As it was they smelled us &
when we came near them there
they had run out.
