I can recall dozens of other instances in various parts of the world where I have lost gaming by the merest chance and every one furnishes as much mental agony at the agent moment as if it had happened yesterday. True, I remember my good shirts only successful hunts but they don't eradicate my failures. In golf other sport my mental processes do not act in quite a little way. In golf I can see me every drive or skillful approach will land out a dozen poor strokes and send me to the club house as happy as though I had played every hole in Vogue. But I think it is that very margin between success and failure that puts nothing above all other sports in my is one of the greatest fascinations which golfing holds for me. That, and this never ending hope which "springs eternal in the human breast." One can always be sure expects that the next hill up
