Finnus This whale had four distinct furrows antero-throat arranged as below On each side of the rafterum First in front of its blowholes there is a prominent swelling in the about 3" feet long & 1/2 foot wide. This makes a shallow depression which runs along the sides of the head being lost near its top swant. hump arms The dip with the ventral outlines of of this body and the arms is very promi- nent. Anterior to the arms the belly swells out suddenly; posterior to its antlers of its peduncle is almost straight just out & to [illegible], swelling out slightly [illegible] halfway between arm & fluke. The lower surface of peduncle joining flukes is more gradually than does the after. (See other page for measurements.)
