The red of various shades from brilliant red to carmine — The others of yellowish white mingled with purple. All taken June 12/10 at Albany bay. A young Finback taken at Albany June 14/10 48 ft. long & has 58 breast folds — The pectorals above had the entire anterior edge white — the dark gray pedunculate fins were almost absent only one showing which ran down for a short distance exactly opposite the tip of the fin and back — I found one of the usual parasites on this animal.
