192 The ends of the premaxillae do not reach within [illegible] The proximal ends of nasals & maxillae are almost opposite each other - the maxillae do not quite reach the end of the nasals. The proximal ends of the premaxillae extend to about the same proximal ends of the nasals. The proximal ends of the nasals maxillae & premaxillae are almost in a line with each other. The former is variable between the maxillae below - also between the palatines, but very slightly at their proximal ends. Measurements of whales taken at Aikawa during 1910 - measured by Curtis.
