The ends of the premaxillae do not reach within
[illegible]
The proximal ends of nasals & maxillae are
almost opposite each other - the maxillae do not
quite reach the end of the nasals.
The proximal ends of the premaxillae
extend to about the same proximal ends of the
nasals.
The proximal ends of the nasals maxillae
& premaxillae are almost in a line
with each other.
The former is variable between the
maxillae below - also between the
palatines, but very slightly
at their proximal ends.
Measurements of whales taken at Aikawa
during 1910 - measured by Curtis. All
measurements should be discounted about
3 feet.
