shadings - all the white lines about the mouth are covered with a yellownish slime, which is easily rubbed off with the finger; there is no yellow pigment in the dermis. On the side a grayish area ex- [illegible] extends from [illegible] to [illegible]. There are one or two small grayish patches just below this band. Upper jaw Inside roof of mouth is whitish- purple proximally grading into light brown distally - inside lower jaw is white tinged with purple proximally - The tongue whic[h] is very small and can just be seen when looking into the mouth is gray-green in color - it is stiff and like the [illegible]' [illegible] deply corrugated everywhere. Lower jaw The lower jaw is rounded asymphysean at the distal end - widens only slightly from distal end to point of branching of the ramus. Breathy lower jaw at given distance from tip are as follows: 2 1/2 from tip is 30 wide in the upper 100 " " " 3 1/2 " jaw there is an 2 00 " " " 4 0 " indentation in width of lower jaw is 2 0 - which each tooth fits.
