Arcturus with yellow on the crown; but he saw the unique can of a young Q bird possessing the admixture of the addt. & is losing them I'm the first most as I am convinced this bird would have done. I obtained this specimen from him via W. for my addt & shot last week. & also ex. A. Bup. fluenting for a very fine young Q Sphyx parulus. Jalo shot a y.y. Reinurus aureicap. He saw no game excepting a pair of pigeons flying high up. Dr P.M. Johnson one birds. The dusk of the warblers I have heard for rural nights past & I think they an already beginning to come). No bird sings regularly now excepting Zonotrichia & he is just bopping into silence. His two first notes are exactly those of the Mullican gabbie. After 12 o'clock a paddle down river I enjoyed a fine sunset. Every thing is as yet green & redent like in the woods but the autumn is close at hand.
