One of its Hallomys was caught under the roots of a tree by the side of a stream throue was high dry ground at corner of its tree. The 2 woodrats caught in a swamp. One of the wood rats #186 had 2 foetus one in each horn. They measured alive in situ 14 min. long and 30mm. thick at the widest part later it is 15. One of its Hallomys #193 had also 1 foetus in each horn which was quite large. July 15, 1929 map. 75 min 56? Bar. 18.1- Clear I caught 1 Straggy Skunk & 1 Hallomys. I had six animals eaten from my traps. I found the skull of one on instinctive. Hand shot a young buff cheked Lemus this morning near camp and shortly after dawn he was all down. The Lemus had on each forearm just above wrist a chunk of hard fat which was oval & flat; also which was attached regidly to thoskin. The other was also a chunk on each arm pit.
