While I was out setting traps I noticed some tracks in the road. I am going back in the morning to measure them. I also saw some very small tracks under some roots by a stem. July 13, 1929 Map 70 Grid 49 Weather: - Partly cloudy all day. It sprinkled some in the afternoon. I caught a Bylot's troat first. It was as docile as a lamb. I caught a Hollomy and about backs of comp under a sort of liced, something on the order of Shenish hay oats only the leaves are much longer. On its ridge I caught 3 juveniles. A fuzzy tailed brown Wood Rat. 1 adult Fuzzy tail and 2 all Hollowys. A. I also caught ridging from the 6 or 8 juvenile Hollowys. All of the small mammals were taken, with the exception of the several Hollowys. Were taken off the high ridge of July 11th mammal. The tracks that I mentioned yesterday were all blotted out except on which measured from its middle clear to total 104 mm. and the width taken at the widest part 68 mm. Rand shot a female stuffed Cheeked Lemur which had in its right horn a large fetus which was put in alcohol.
