22nd The weather at present very bad
cloudy, misty and rainy. The Moun-
tains of Hong Kong are almost con-
tantly covered with clouds, which
only disappear about once in a full-
night.
23rd Sunday
The weather very bad; raining most of
the time. I remained on board ship
