Tuesday November 20 1914 There was less wind than usual today and we took advantage of the relaxation in the weather to get over a lot of stuff from the Point. It took six teams to keep up with the load of boxes that we light down over there. I have a minimum thermometer on top of the hill to the west of the house. Every week or so and I go up and read it. Today we found that 16.5 degrees below zero was the coldest it had been since the last setting. This comparatively warm weather is the usual companion of continuous wind.
