272 Sunday May 23, 1915 Weather Excellent. Left Stah. 6:30 PM with Ellis, O'Byrne & Ollinymuck. We were accompanied by several Espinous who were migrating northward. We camped in Lifboat Cove. May 24, 1915 Camped at Amouth. First dogs picked up oil biscuit + milk. Made 6 days each. May 25, 1915 C. Keani Snow + fog. Must fix at C. Supersell. Camped at C. Francis when F made a check to Eth. Saw Name's '14' cut in rocks at Cape Leiper, and also several dilapidated cairns. May 26, 1915 Marshall Bay Weather bad again. O'Byrne killed a seal half way across Marshall Bay. We camped and fed the dogs. May 27, 1915 C. Keen: Clear with north wind.
