Saturday March 28, 1915 Clear and pleasant - 4° The women cleaned up the house. The house is full of no noise, dirt & ugly people, but of peace + quiet + love, philosophic, pastoral fellows. Monday March 29, 1915 Clear + pleasant - 9° Twinice & Sunny arrived with Hal's + Mac's dogs. A note from here told us that he had met Peter with his wife & Seeglos on their way to Stak. The ice extends out 15 miles, this condition of affairs makes hunting difficult & the meteor can gledge to the Cary Islands. Below Peterawich the people have eaten nearly all of their dry & have burned this hometils for fuel. The ice conditions, more pointedly remarks, may prevent a ship from reaching us next year.
