Wednesday November 18-1914 Clear with high X = wind -10° The house suffered assault and battery throught last night x off back shroob and the combined uproar kept me oscillating between Terror of night terrors and a vague apprehension that the roof might lean us at any minute x The wind is taking it's kindly an interest in our private affairs - It is prying into every corner of our room and even went as far as to pry under my blankets one or twice in the night x I must be getting thin blooded or anemia or some- thin g that kind as I have been cold for two days x In fact the only time I am very warm is when I am out walking x then the blood starts and my mind comes to shake off its vagueness until I commence to feel normal once more x Joe came out about noon x The men at the house are planning a party for Thanksgiving x By that time the sliding parties will be back from the earth and we expect some visitors besides x We had a very light hike this morning, the water came almost to our front door x Joe said that the barometer was falling rapidly x I suppose that we may have another northerly blow upon then heavy north winds x More snow will help our house x The snow from the trail doesn't seem to shift our way x
