And still it blows! (Eighth wind.)
But it did not blow so hard as to prevent from going from walking in it. It was a pleasant feeling to get out on the ice again and feel the chill of the air around me. We took in some things we didn't need and I returned a load of books.
The house seemed very dirty and gloomy after one crazy little time with its electric lights and it was almost impossible to read in the dim light that came from the windows. Strange to say thin pans had put more than help me much then on them while over to a slight glow through which we can still see the outdoors.
Unfortunately she found to be here day at the house and we had none of the fresh meat for which we are craving and you did not give us any when we returned. I am afraid that we shall be sick if we continue to live without any meat except the canned beef we have occasionally and the few ducks that have come our way.
I enjoyed most all the music. It is very hard to have that sort of life on the island as it means so much. Some times I feel as this hunger for food or drinks or companionship are very small things compared to the burning desire for the satisfaction of music.
We returned to the Island after dinner. Dark time has been the hours yet.
