124 Sunday July 26 - 1914. Walked up the rim valley and around down Frio valley. Weather continues ideal. Everyone is busy writing letters in an iception of some kind room. Jerome took many pictures of the Indians at this various native divisions. Hopefully he spared 1000 feet of the film in the developing room, and will have time to do over. For a nice but fabulous woman that got cold could not live would be at 15-2 yrs. When we measured out the distance got round that it looked like 1000 yrs. Monday July 27 - 1914 I was indoors all day & it was my turn to cook. I had baked [illegible] wild duck for dinner and made the stuffing & follows: (quantities some guess) white wheat biscuit Summer Sausage corn bread Sage hominy flour Molasses Hyme Worcestershire Sauce Mint Lemon extract Red Pepper Cayenne Tomato Sauce condensed milk Butter Water Cinnamon Salt Horseradish
