118 Etah Monday June 1-1914 It required a week or ten days to get my boots and personal belongings out of the attic and shed where I had stowed them for the spring in order that they might be kept dry. Hal and Jerome had made a trip to Sitka Island without dogs, going over the hill with a toboggan. They had left a convenient cache of tent, ammunition & supplies near the ice to be used for future hunting trips. Jerome had been to Peteraunk when he last stayed with Accomodignak and Hal had made several short trips down the coast. Eth and Beth had gone down to Nomekin with Beta Erenchin. She (Jerome) is planning to do some geological survey work in Bulwella Bay where there is supposed to be a virgin field. Eth had rather a hard time until he got coming home but it has finally cleared up. Tuesday June 16-1914 We got cleared up with our personal belongings and then all hands turned their attention to clearing up about the house. The snow & ice was shoveled away from the house and the feet piles of cases supplied & stowed clear of the house walls.
