106 Folan Saturday, April 25 - 1914. Saw wind and drifting snow. I got behind & lost the trail getting into camp more than an hour after the others. My red bitch died today- We made about 20 & 2½ mile. Sunday, April 26 - 1914 Beautiful day. Marched from igloo #7 to igloo #5; cross 4½ mile over rolling, north snow fields. We stopped at igloo #6 & had tea & fed the dogs. Signed the Cape This G.M. at least 6½ miles away. We marched from 4:20 A.M. to 7:20 P.M. 15 day & am pretty tired. Monday, April 27 - 1914 Beautiful clear weather saw mirage all our northern horizon resembling land. This is the same as I saw coming out. The mirage extended almost to Cape Colgate, if it had few land that Cape would lie within 60 miles of it. Tuesday, April 28 - 1914 Sand again!
