Steward. 101 Tuesday Apr. 14 - 19 14 5 Joe sent Chris & Vincejyunk both to Utah. We have here: 109 red - 31 blue 29 miles 110lbs brine 23 oil hrs. Of this we will take for + men + 4 team on the Color Sea, 25 days; 100 red 6 oil 17 blue. We plan to leave tomorrow whether the war - the status or not. The whole 4 fours are drying & mending preparing to starting Wednesday Apr. 15 We travelled about .5-18 miles N.W.N.W along the coast. My big black dog died today & the others are in such bad shape that I (as very quickly lighten my load about 20lbs. Thurs. Apr. 16, 1914 Left about 12:30 am + headed out - see ice about 5/8 time. Dry hard & rolling. Made good time. Think persons in about 10 miles N.N.W to now Cape Thompson Hut - ford, which we were now able to recognize on looking back. I hurt my right knee in a fall early things came right ie. Surely it is just a bruise.
