Friday Feb. 27 - 1914.
This Am I & J went over Joe's boxes accord-
ing to orders & picked out what we might need.
I took:
2 tin chocolate
2 films
1 vanilla
1 large Argentine cream
Card
1 whip stick
At the lake we left plenty of red & blue
furniture, biscuit, milk, & 3 gals. oil
Left with the two boys to watch glacier
about 9:20 P.M. It was very cold. We had three
plate, fed the dogs & fish the oil up on the glacier
face.
Dinner in 7:20 Am very fine.
Saturday Feb. 28 1914
Got furniture & all of our equipment up by
noon. We made the camp at the lake at 3:45 P.M.
& continued to the top. We faced a hard west wind
on the ascent & did not arrive untie 8:45 Am.
I have a brise on my right shoulder &
stiffened finger on my right hand.
At the glacier I left biscuit, milk & furni-
can for the returning parties. We brought up two furni
can & 28 gals. of oil with us.
