Saturday Jan. 3rd-14. Ek and Hudlukets, Fouthingwal and Evalos, and Arkles and Ahlming- wah left this morning for the south. Mac and Peowaho started for Anmaratok but were back in a couple of hours because they found open water to the north. I ran the engine from eleven to four. Green and Tank took Mac's dog team and went to the point for a load of oil. It is rumored that they travelled five or six miles getting there. Creayoo and Ahmauwel are staying with us for a while in order that Ahmauwel may help with the sewing at which art she is very proficient.
