Tue May 5 -14. Great excitement at home today was caused by the arrival of Nukapingnak and Arklis. They came in on one patched-up komatik with six dogs, bringing a note from Mac saying all was well. The day has been devoted to family reunions and general enjoyment of the home-comers. Nukapingnak seems to have grown a few inches around the chest since seeing his three weeks old son. Wed May 6 -14. The visiting eskimos left this morning. Oblaugu went them to get his tent at Nerke; his family dis living in Lipsius igloo next door. The little girls are playing dolls eskim fashion, carrying fox skins in a handkerchief tied around the neck, like their mothers carry babies in the hood of the kapetah.
