Mac organized a hunting party to go after
the wolf this morning. Green, jot, and I-
tookashu went north towards Sunrise Point,
and Mac, Ek, Peewahs and I went out
to the islands where he has been eating.
Mac and I went on the south sides of
the islands and Ek and the eskimos men
to cover the north sides. While Mac
and I were beating the islands Ek
saw the wolf which had come off
the island and started north. It ran
towards Sunrise Point and jot and the
others there were waiting for a shot
but it got their scent and turned
and ran up the fjord towards the
glacier. Ek and Peewahs both had
two long distance shots at it but
the hunt was given up on account
of the high north wind which sprang
up and besides making walking dif-
ficult obscured vision by blowing the
snow. However, we are glad to see

expedition starts.
