Clear early morning. Robins
have arrived in jute, one
heard singing.
Mar 30. It rained from Tues
tiday; it is as it now. There
has been some sleet. It
is going to clear up till
warmth, says old Fred.
Hope tomorrow will be a great
day with the birds.
That Sparrows arrived me
year ago today!
Mar 31. A Spring day. Glass 35-62-46
wind N. W. Strong. The only new ar-
rival noticed was the Fox sparrow, one.
The air was full of Crows all day, from
North. Many flocks of Bluebirds
also passed! I must have seen
100. It was a hunt day, and
I saw at least 20. I killed one mostly
red shouldered. There was a long
very long day. I also saw
a Marsh hawks 3 and one Cooper's
I think.
Cowbird, one in morning!
