10733 - 26 July, 1969 Flat sandy bottom of small Cove in sand dunes behind the beach, doubtless flooded by storm tides. South shore of the Caspian Sea, 29 km, north of Sari, Iran. Plants annual, prostrate and rooting, forming flat mats with erect peduncles. Corolla bilabiate, at first white, soon turning lavender with a deeper red-purple spot at the base of the lower lip.
