July 8. With drier on all night, most of the specimens were dry. Put the rest on the heater and they were dry before lunch. Talked to Max & John - float plane due in any moment & we should deport by 12:00, so went home & finished packing. Then heard that plane was having manifold repairs & would be delayed, So back to the lab to wait. Max plans to have us at Noluck Lake just a week, then back to Bannow a couple of days to dry specimens before going to Benneke Island. He's
