July 3. Strong wind of last day - suddenly still. Fog in night - sprinkle in morning, but not real rain. Out about 8:30, with sun trying to burn through overcast. Went back up river to photograph Eriochloa on dunes & took several shots, with varying light. Collected several moths not yet found, including Sphacelum ovatum and a Desmatodon.
