Journal Huber 1964 I found a sand dollar on Jaluit Atoll that is around 8" in diameter. When I shined it it had a small fish inside it that looks like the kind found in sea cucumbers. On Liferoon's Jaluit Atoll I estimated 1500 boobies (R.F.) . I only saw about R F nests and no signs of old R F frusta. Nearly 3/4 of the birds (R.F.) on the island are imm. That's something to think about awhile. Also saw about 2 or 3 Lesser Frigates with & the 250 (st) Greater Frigates. The G.F. roosted in trees that night. Where did the L. F roost ? In trees also? Why so many Noddishian Curlews on Kwajalein and none of the other island (I seen 2 Jaluit). Why do they pick that one island but no where else (except for strays). Why no Bristle-thighed Curlews seen on Kwajalein. Nov. 15, 1964. At sea between Makin and Majuro. I saw a storm petrel today that was black with white possibly starting slightly forward of the tail feathers, and extending back to almost the tip of the tail feathers were it was black again, this black formed a conspicuous band on the tail of the bird. Didn't get a good look at the underside of the bird. If there was any white on the under, it [illegible] here but it was the same as the dorsal side.
