Life around here isn't bad at all bowling, all good cafeteria, lots of friendly people by the ocean, many clubs, (skinding, recording, etc), cheap prices at PX, everything. Just caught an eel like creature that was swimming around on the surface by the ship tonight. Nov 14 Bikni b I got some baby turtles on [illegible] Atoll and .. some turtle eggs. Two days ago one egg hatched and today, 3 eggs hatched. Apparently the turtles hatch but stay half in and half out of the egg for as much as 8 hours while the rest of the egg yolk is absorbed out of three young so far. Two were 27 gm and one 28 gm on coming out of the egg I've just weighed (roughly with ship's moving) and the turtles kept in fresh and salt water and it looks as if the salt water ones are averaging 10 gm more than fresh.
