St. Vincent. 30 May, 1891. Probably then came cultivation. Just as we were about to sit down to dinner, a message came up from the village to say that Canon March had taken the bed-rooms ice and that it melted. Mr Branch having induced ice for a period that came in the passage boat and melted into the house. The latter however has flourished healthily & accused him of stealing the bride's ice. He said will be can't go with it. However, didn't find them a fair share yet. So the third line divided. After dinner we went out in the valley and I smoked a cigarette had a long comfort, and the Canon told me he has nearly going to Dominica to act for Mr Sturt, and his "Principal Cousin" had not treated him well. So I am rather hard I turned in pretty early, and found that I was in one of the Miss Branch's bedrooms by the usual kindness of guests generally stuck about the place. 31 May, 1891. Sunday. There is a capital bath, an old Canal has been diverted and turned into a deep stone bath, and the water is deliciously fresh and cool. Vigorously. I went to Church morning and evening. The service was rather life-drawn, and the singing very agreeable. Miss Branch played the little Reed organ. The Canon had had a lot of small booklets sent to him by the Attorney General, Mr Chippen, and he read something goodly pretty things instead of sermon in the evening. Hope that first the booklets are published by. 1 June, 1891. Monday. Left the passage boat this morning, and took up some plants from Mr Branch's garden, which I sent into the Carista to be taken care of. After a pleasant passage, I reached town by 11.30 am. well prepared for my lunch, which Mrs Brown from the head lady of the hotel speedily prepared for me. The hotel is pretty comfortable. W.B. Brown anxious to please his guests. To morning I got to Grand Table an estate on the windward side of the island belonging to the Hon. Dr. T. Hazelle. Mr H. has invited Sir George, the Royal Engineer so well known in the Lesser Islands & myself the Carista beside myself. He is to send a carriage from 6 am. to morrow, and he stay out two days. After leaving Grand Table I am to stop for a day as with S. Prince Austin. 2 June, 1891. Tuesday. Sir George came round in good time and unless him at 6.20 pm. Then we a capital pair of the American.
