coast of Moray in the minute
of Panama on the station
more water became more
visible. The whole day was
clear & gray with a
balmy cooling head wind.
The sun sank in a golden
mist of clouds without
definite shape or shape for
the play of colors.
29 all day we steamed
steadily at 13 knots thru
calm smooth water without
any swell. Mt shill of
the Malaya Peninsula &
islands were in sight
all day. At 5 P.M. we
passed into Singapore
Bay past a picturesque
white light house on small
islet, the lower rim of a circle.
