27 Another mole rat was caught today, also 2 of the short tailed lizards & small shrews + large spring haggad aspired the common redbellied species. One Mohammedan hunter brought in a large black & white Hornbill. After dark a nutgia landed the first dove heard here. The sun set clear the first day of good weather welcome land 28 Another fair dry day with a south-west wind! Favoured us. The catch consists of batwing squirrels, chipmunks + short tailed lizards at one of the small flat shelled bats shot at the creeks. The people who live here are Mohammedan therefore keep our dogs on guard. They launched 2 buffaloe to a few zebras but no other live stock.
