The sharas who live here are hunters + attend guides to Sacambar, both mahouts, clerks & neither tigers or ingapaloes occur here they said. (2) Some of the resident sharas (12 men) went out driving into Alor nothing of big game was seen. The traps caught several large Pachyurus + house rats. (3) We had better success today & caught a large new Springa + a new large Insectivore like the one I muching & A caught in Palecat. At noon Mr Oo called me out to witness a large river cat eating only the flesh parts of the cattle. & shot the animal which proved to be 6th or lean combition + probably sick which my accounts for its boldness. A monkey was also seen while driving game + no Sacambar.
