as you move thru the thicket or scratch your hand if you gasp brown hogs from caressly, This species of hogs grows everywhere on the forest being the usual undergrowth. Haltams none to feet in heigh & 2 wide in diameter. On the return to camp I shot a new squirrel a very long mounted sort with the general color appearance of large Tupia. He was watching sitting and feeding on chips in the bush & Log within a few yards plain. Through the terminous redbellied squirrels were also secured on the return. Neither gun caught any small mammals in our traps. At the summit camp one young Fishhunter Alday located a beehive within a half mile large tree which danced much to his early ascented in consequence. He ascended & with some more simpled the bees which made out stunged around his head. He
