pass & the range of monkeys.
There was something to do,
but return to the village
as there was no water at
the pass or in the forest below
it where the monkeys
lived. We pitched camp
at the roadside a mile
above the village which
was our only water supply.
2 In the early morning
we heard monkeys calling
which by their notes we
suspected were gibbons &
this later proved to be
the case. If the gibbons here
are uniform black in the
b's and brown mgs. They
are larger than the Mann
ling species but their call
notes are similar but distinct,
is being less prolonged
that is more of a series of
chacks or whistles. One
rat traps caught the long
tailed Tupin like monkey
of
the orangutangs
of Gory Apodema & same places
as the longtailed Orang apodens.
