I'm above the bridge as far as
we could see. The weather
has been continuously lazy so
that wherever that visible
distance is clearly visible.
This haze remains permanent
or at least very as dense at
sunrise. We climbed out of
the valley again to through
village of its own-then 6000 feet,
situated on a spur with a few
vertical forms surrounding
it. Then our camping place at
the village & saw considerable
rabbits during but the villagers
assured us that rabbits occurred
there only during the rains at
dusk I shot several brown haggies
shot at camp.
April 12 [illegible] proved to be a whole
day for me. In 2 hours made
up the Teng-yerk road me
reached a small village where
the inhabitants said monkeys
were to be found but A day
not like the place it seemed
