From Four Jacks remained barging high on the mountain. So we went in search but recovered only 2 of them. We returned to camp at Sunset. On the way we crossed thru a fine grove of fine Rhododendrons some 20 or 30 feet high, in fine growth. Beneath them was a tall growth of Bamboos, grass 6 feet high. Within edges of the grove grew several tall Larch trees. In the early part of the day I spotted from a distance foggy where we landed. During this time I saw only one good whil was in view a few seconds only as it ran downe nearly vertical cleft. We caught in the trap another song mottled Blind shrew which resembles Neurotrichus of California in characters. A caught a Brown Sorex also besides Apaloxmus & Microtus minor.
