The day was perfect cool warmth inside the tents. Ahmed forest visited us with the night. The forest here consists of very large trees, chiefly beech, oak with cane undergrowth & moss covered ground. Saw a new blue wood pigeon. Bears are said to come into the cornfield. We saw some of the residents milk goat, made of spirel thorns. One man brought 2 flecks meat for elephants to sell. Mole crickets are quite common here in wet meadows. 23 The night was cold & clear with heavy frost but inside we both broke fast on the step with a last quail hovering lazily above the meadow thongram. The troops settled I more made 2 sorey (large headed) / S swan (common) / Peregrine falcon + lap demons.
