The traps on Blackvale
Creek crowded on the brown
more fell by the Honk Shan ching
Hunter, The mare is an imbrand
Jente which attempts to
scale cliffs & trees on occasion
when being guided over the land.
She is a very daring spirit like
& hangs dont camp unperfectly
comes to the main when called.
The steel traps contained nothing
as usual & one large ones stolen
by some small shepherd boy whom
I found nearby but they denied
any knowledge of the trap caused
On the way back I shot me white
dellied squirrel in a large rock in
the forest where two were playing
together. The hunter pointed out a
thrush which I shot & on the large
meadow I shot a Stretzed thrasher
like thrush; Both morning I
acquired a water men in depth
mouse traps & a woodpecker with the
22 new camp. At his home returned at
