Hachwer, C.D. 1967 Egg Measurements Great Frigatebird (Fregata minor) March 28 Green Is., Kure Atoll Nests located on top of dense Scaevola thicket from 5' to 8' in height. Nests difficult to get to because of dense vegetation. Measurement was stopped when other frigatebirds (mostly subadult males) persisted in picking all abandoned nests apart. Four nests with eggs were not bothered by 7 nests that were new construction but still empty and destroyed.
