Record showed that my aneroid 1/00
made the elevation to be 2300 feet ±.
They found it cold on the moun-
tain, with moderate but keen wind
from East. No open water or big leads
in sight?
I got in some time on St. Vincent's
work while attending to the readings.
Also read "Deserted Village", "Elegy in
Country Churchyard" & "John Gilpin's Ride".
Went out for about a half hour just
before dinner. Magnificent evening,
strong twilight and moon nearly full.

Clear, high thin cirro stratus clouds
more or less all day, lt. S. E. wind at 9am.
changing to S.W. before noon.
