Then I estimated the elevation at 2500 feet, but was prejudiced with so much scorn that advance when the others made their guesses to-day at: H.Q.P. 1200', Dr.H. 1175', Mate 1250', Norman 1500', Chief 1100, I got cold feet and reduced my guess to 2000'.
