to look for leads - About 1 they returned
t we anchored. Little later ice began
coming toward us & Inge his was towed
over 5 little berg and moved. After
lunch K.R. & Hendrick climbed cliffs
& at 2:25 Hendrick returned saying way
seemed practicable for some distance.
He began firing engine & Jot at 2:30 got
out in little boat & began towing. While
sea is thickly filled with floe ice + bergs
as far as Carey Is. + Northumberland
+ Herbert Is.
We picked up KR
on other side of point & went on while
as near to point just beyond big dike
where KR & JC were a short area-
north again. 8 lat calm: then
