Ran as far as Notchilik Point night bringing Kolbinguak with us, the idea being to climb the hills then and get idea of ice off Cape Perry - Arr. 10:35, but fog hid out in so thick that we could go no fur- ther. Hence spent quiet night at anchor. Now, 6:30 a., K. R. + Kolbinguak have gone ashore and up the hill, since the fog is lifting. 7:40 Under way, fog having lifted.
