A fallaceus (bent). In some of these the anthers are more crowded & the arms shorter than in the original species from Drummond's collection, No. 293, grown by Dris & Muph t. es.
Pm. D. Nuttallii, lower short, [?] clasies of arms & isles, branches of panicles in two & three, the lower flops more spreading, the upper short & opposite; 1-2 flowered. Upper glumes exceeding the palea. Arms 3 - 3 1/2 inches in length.
