Mason Mitchell includes Blue-winged and Green-winged
Teal (Q. "discolor" and Q. "carolinesis") from Samoa, but without
any definite records. In view of recent records of North American
ducks from the Marshalls and elsewhere in the Pacific, it is likely
some species may reach Samoa.
