The main ridge (like the saddle) borders the camp valley or heavily wooded with a thick growth of mystery brush with scattered small trees. Then the top flat in broken with rock outcrops and open grassy patches. A short distance from the trail just what 's way to the saddle road showed me the remains of the deadfalls which had been built by the Indians. This consisted of a runway of sticks some 1 rod in length and about 6 inches wide placed so as to include what had previously been a long natural runway.
