This morning I attended traps and prepared specimens. This afternoon I set at 12 stick traps along the margin in heavy mangy forest. The exact locality is best seen on the small accompanying maps. Fly as in or near a long forest (sketched) North East of camp at the head of a grassy bay of the upper Brunei valley. 8 traps were set in the heavy mangy forest itself, the other 4 on the edge of the heavy grass bay border the forest. This morning I attended traps and prepared specimens. The afternoon next 95 net traps. They were taken from the grassy valley north east of camp and set along the left shore edge beginning on the middle (sketch) of the grassy valley on the water side of the bay and following the shore line around the point of the bay and south west along the left shore to a point about half way at the outlet.
